1.  Satisfactory driving record with a valid Class B commercial drivers license with "P" endorsement

2.  Minimum age of twenty-one (21)

3.  Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent 

4.  Satisfactory work record with at least three (3) years experience in field

5.  Knowledge to perform gas and diesel engine tune-ups, complete engine overhauls, general mechanics and other related duties

6.  Maintain records concerning 

7.  Diagnose and analyze all mechanical and electrical problems accurately 

8.  Must be insurable by district insurance carrier

9.  Must be physically able to lift heavy weights

10. Must be able to communicate effectively with school bus drivers

11. Must be ASE certified or be willing to obtain ASE certification in various areas of expertise
