Interventionist at Galena Elementary School with endorsement in Elementary Education 120 (K-6)

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of teaching experience

• Ability to work effectively with administrators, colleagues, parent engagement coordinator, parents, students, and community

• Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required

• Lead school and department PLCs as needed

• Provide professional development for teachers according to need

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier 3 interventions to students 

• Use data to provide instruction to students and bring their skills up to grade-level

• Monitor the progress of students, maintains records and communicates with parents and teachers

• Attend and participate in ongoing training sessions, data analysis meetings and workshops

• Work with teachers and principal to teach the intervention tactics\

• Prepare reports for parents, teachers, and principal regularly

• Attend the appropriate training to improve knowledge and skills

• Participate in evaluations of the intervention plans

• Title I Coordinator

• Work with EL Students (Imagine Learning)
